Tutti gli orari ed il programma calcistico di martedì 18 Marzo 2014. Oggi si giocheranno due match degli ottavi di finale di Champions League: Real Madrid-Schalke 04 e Chelsea-Galatasaray. La partita tra i londinesi di José Mourinho ed i turchi è senza dubbio quella più interessante che si giocherà oggi in considerazione dell’1-1 dell’andata. Gli inglesi sono reduci da una sconfitta in campionato sul campo dell’Aston Villa che ha ridotto il vantaggio in classifica sulle concorrenti dirette per il titolo, in particolar modo sul Manchester City che ora ha sei punti in meno e tre partite da recuperare.
Nonostante la voglia di riscatto, ieri Mourinho ha preferito non fare promesse ai suoi tifosi considerando incerto l’esito della partita di questa sera. Molto temuti dal portoghese i suoi ex giocatori Drogba e Sneijder, due in grado di fare sempre la differenza in una partita secca. Dal canto suo Roberto Mancini ha lavorato molto sulla preparazione di questa gara, nella speranza che i suoi ragazzi si siano ormai scrollati di dosso un po’ di timore reverenziale dopo il primo tempo dell’andata, praticamente regalato alla squadra avversaria.
L’altra sfida di questa sera tra Real Madrid e Schalke 04 rappresenta soltanto una formalità per la squadra di Carlo Ancelotti, vittoriosa 6-1 all’andata in casa dei tedeschi. Molto probabilmente il tecnico italiano proporrà un ampio turn over, soprattutto in vista del ‘Clasico’ di domenica sera contro il Barcellona del Tata Martino. Nella rotazione non dovrebbe essere inserito Cristiano Ronaldo che in Champions League vuole esserci sempre a prescindere dall’importanza della partita.
